Getting Started

Run WildSight on your own vehicles, with your own guides and guests, before committing to anything.

WildSight is not new. We have already run a full pilot at a private game reserve, where guides logged over 1,100 real sightings across daily drives. What follows is how we bring it to yours.

You buy nothing to find out

For the first 2-3 days we bring the tablets, already loaded with your reserve, and put them in your vehicles. No purchase, no mounts, no setup on your side. You only buy hardware if you decide to carry on.

Step by step

1. A call, and a live demo

We talk through how your drives run today, then show you WildSight working on a tablet.

2. We set up your reserve

Send whatever map you have. We build it in with your roads, waterholes and place names.

3. Two to three days, our tablets

We bring tablets already set up with your reserve, and your guides run real drives with them.

4. You decide on hardware

Only if it earns its place do you buy tablets and mounts. Bought directly, and they stay yours.

5. Workshop, and we ride along

One hands-on session with your guides, then we join real drives and fix whatever gets in the way.

6. We review it together

Sightings data, guide feedback, your own impressions. Then we decide together whether to continue.

Who does what

We provide

  • Tablets for the initial test
  • The software for the full trial period
  • Your reserve map, built and integrated
  • Accounts and roles for your team
  • Workshop, ride-alongs and support

You provide

  • The vehicles taking part
  • Whatever map material you already have
  • One contact person on your side
  • Your guides’ time for one workshop
  • Tablets and mounts, only if you continue

Cost, and what happens afterwards

  • Nothing to buy for the initial test. We bring the tablets for the first 2-3 days.
  • A simple monthly subscription per vehicle. No setup fee, no licence up front.
  • No hardware sold by us. You buy tablets and mounts directly, and they stay yours.
  • You can stop at the end. No notice period, no penalty, nothing to return.
  • Your data goes with you either way. Every sighting belongs to the reserve and is exported on request.

Common questions

Do we need to buy tablets first?

No. For the first 2-3 days we bring our own, already loaded with your reserve. You only buy hardware if you decide to carry on, and you buy it directly so it stays yours.

How many vehicles should we start with?

Enough that guides actually see each other on the map, because that is where the value shows up. A handful of vehicles on the same drives works far better than one on its own.

How long is the trial period?

Long enough to cover a normal range of drives and conditions, and to get past the first week of unfamiliarity. We agree the length up front so there is a clear end date.

How do we get our map integrated?

You supply whatever you already have, whether that is an image, a PDF or GPS tracks. We handle the setup and build it in with your own roads, waterholes and place names.

What about sensitive species?

Rhino, cheetah, or any species you choose can be set so that their history is visible to management only. Guides still report them and live coordination still works.

Start with a conversation

Tell us how many vehicles you run and what you use today, and we will come back with a concrete proposal for your reserve.
